From nowhere and everywhere STUMPS DUH CLOWN is a hard living, soft-hearted musician, raconteur, ex-rail rider, dad, clown performer, lover-of-life with few boundaries, and a gentleman of unique character with a million stories to tell. Living somewhere in New Orleans, Stumps is somewhat of a local legend, for among other things, as a co-founder of the Krewe De Vieux, a legendary Mardi Gras seasonal parade provocateurs, as well as playing with a wide range of local musicians. Stumps’ specializes in purist folk blues and country music he plays on his steel Dobro guitar, sometimes accompanied by friends. Once he gets to playing and singing one’s transported back to the early 20th century out on the fields, whiskey bottle in hand, complete with hobo stories. He’s considered such that some of his recordings are in the Smithsonian as an example of Americana. On this record ‘The Family Affair’ Stumps is joined by his son Pasha and Banjoist Fitz ?. The six song EP was recorded live at the Tiki Farm in Pearlington, MS.
